Tata Steel Water Pumping Solution
Tata Steel operated a mine up to 300 m deep. It is now non-operational, but its water is supplied to local communities for household use. The existing stage pump is energy-intensive and its surface placement and depth create safety risk. Our plan is a custom submersible pump that lifts water from 300 m to 150 m, then a standard submersible for regular operation from 150 m.
